Choose your courses

To see all the courses offered by the School of Biology, we invite you to look at the study plans rubric of the page study programmes.

The course descriptions are available on the internet of the University of Lausanne at the page: Programmes offered at the UNIL under the heading Structure of the Stage struc.png.

You will find the descriptions of the choice modules 4, 5 & 6 of the spring semester by clicking here.

Students registered for BSc or MSc studies at their home university will be entitled to follow teaching at the same level at the University of Lausanne (i.e. BSc level for incoming BSc students, and MSc level for incoming MSc students). However, exceptions duly justified by the student and her/his mobility counselor may be granted by Ecole de biologie in specific cases.

The courses of the first two years of the Bachelor programme are taught in French. In the third year, teaching is both in French and English.

The University of Lausanne offers French courses for non-French-speaking students.

Please note that access to modules 4, 5 and 6 (M34007, M34008, M34009, M34111, M34112, M34113, M34115, M34116, M34117) is limited.

Any external student interested in taking one or more of these modules must first make two choices with an order of priority for each of modules 4, 5 and 6. Depending on the availability, the School of Biology will confirm the possible registrations 2 weeks before the beginning of the Spring semester.
