My principal domain of interest is landscape genomics, i.e., the study of spatial patterns of selection and the influence of the landscape on local adaptation.

By combining ecological and genomic information, I seek to understand how species cope with changing or different environments. To do so, I use the European barn owl (Tyto alba) as a model and look for some traces of selection at the genomic level. This allows me to assess how natural populations evolve through time and space and disentangle the genomic implications.
