I am interested in systems that use distributed intelligence to accomplish a common goal. Building on the automated ant tracking system, previously developed by the Keller Group at UNIL, my objective is to create a new tool to precisely manipulate aspects of the collective behavior of ants to test hypotheses on their social organization, in a way that is unbiased from the human observer.
